Receiving a Code of -2147417851

There is this strange error code that we are getting from the Viewer when we try to stamp a PDF file with our own customized stickynote stamp. The error is -2147417851.
What does this error mean?
Here's some more info:
- Only happens in a certain folder, but works on other folders. (We have checked the permission and everything, but this folder is no different from the other folders that are fine).
-When I rename the PDF file (it contains some '.' in the file) to a shorter name, it then works fine.

We are dumfounded by this because it cannot be the folder (as the stamping is working fine when we rename the PDF file), and it cannot be the PDF file because its working on other folders.

Looks like this problem is related to your system specific. Description for this error code is "The server threw an exception." and it is not Viewer-specific code.
Can you describe in detail what are you doing or provide sample code reproducing problem (even only on your system with specific file)&

Also, please details (step by step) so we can reproduce and solve the problem.
