Restore Document Options Toolbar in browser plugin?

Post by paul1149 »

Hi. I just activated the XChange plugin for the Opera Browser, on Win XP. Mistakenly I nuked the Doc Options bar, which is at the left of what I guess is the status bar at the bottom of the viewer. I've found no way to restore this toolbar in Customize! Help! :)

Try F11 = Show/Hide All Toolbars.

The problem is that this occurs in the browser plugin. F11 is FullScreen in Opera.

Shift+F12 will do it - just tried a few combinations and not only did this one work, but there are things that I've never seen before!

You're seeing the Customization dialog - for Opera. That's why there are things there you've not seen before. Most, if not all, the hotkeys are going to go to the browser rather than the plugin. I'm still without the Doc Options toolbar.

F11 will toggle fullscreen in Opera if the browser has focus, but it will show/hide all toolbars if the plugin has focus. Just click on the page of the PDF to give focus to the plugin.

That's true. I learned something. But even so, toggling the toolbars off and on doesn't restore the doc options toolbar.

Thanks,

In new build (41.1) you will be able to show/hide some document's toolbars through right click on any visible main-toolbar.
Note: if no one main-tool bar is visible then you can be press F8-key ('toggle all toolbars' operation) for show 'File' toolbar by default.
