PDF-XChange won't start with web-based GIS program

I'm not sure how best to describe this. I have a subscription access web service for air photos. After plotting out a property, it displays the property in a pop-up pdf window. I recall it having worked (when I was evaluating Tracker) with multiple tabs, but now, nothing happens! I do not have a pop-up blocker on my IE7, and the program functions with Adobe when I uninstall Tracker. But Tracker is better, and I want to continue using it.

Any clues as to what is happening? I have looked through user preferences but don't find anything that might be responsible.

I use Windows XP, I think SP 3 is installed now. I have a license for your Pro viewer, but don't think I installed it yet. I don't know which version of the Viewer I was using, but it was downloaded about two weeks ago.

Okay, I re-installed the Viewer (with the serial number this time) and it works fine in a browser window. Think I'll leave well-enough alone for now!

While I was typing this you posted that you solved your problem.

I am glad everything is fine. Make sure you are using the latest version of the viewer ("Help -> Check for updates" on a regular basis) as we are constantly improving our software with new features and bug fixes.

I take it back. I now have the problem in another web application, but under the same circumstances. If I go into X-Change Preferences and Restore File Associations, the map pdf pops up in Adobe Reader. What is wierd is that this was working earlier today in the other GIS application that I was perviously having a problem with, but now does not.

Sure, this will be helpful.

Click a check in the "I agree" box, then click on "click here for public access". For an example that does not generate a long list of results, key in "Z" for the Street name and select Zani Ln.

Click on any tax ID link. I used the top one (Richard Ross). The property record card will come up. On the right side is the link "Show Tax Map (PDF)". Click on it and a tax map will appear.

The inconsistency of this problem - now X-Change works - makes me wonder if perhaps it's a memory issue? Yesterday it worked for half a day and then stopped pulling up maps. Any insight you can lend would be most welcome.

You can check for updates from within PDF-XChange at any time.

See the History of Changes link in my signature for what has changed with each update. If this issue is fixed, there will probably be a link to this thread in the changelog.
