Send by E-mail function not showing my changes

Post by scs_jm »

Hello,
I'm using the free viewer (version 2 build 41.3). I have pdf viewer set as my default viewer so when i open a pdf file attachement thats been emailed to me it opens automatically in pdf viewer. My issue is if i double click on a pdf attachment in outlook to open, and add something (a line, stamp, whatever) and then click the Send by e-mail icon and email the document, the things i added do not appear. If i save the document to the hard drive then add something and email its ok. I was hoping it would work like MS Office where you can open a document attachment, change and email without have to save first. Is this possible? Thank you. I'm running this on Windows XP pc's with Office 2003.

In any case before sending the document, all changes should be saved.
We will add autosave (maybe in temporary file) before sending into build 42.0 of the viewer.

I'd be so happy to have an auto-save feature that would allow me to recover a document, if I accidentally allow an installation to restart my computer when I have a modified PDF document open. I understand you'd want to have the changes saved in a temporary file, not the original file, but that should be possible.

Thanks!
