We just reloaded our x64 win2003 terminal server over the weekend and we loaded your latest pdf xchange viewer using the default install options. There seems to be a bug in that for the /print and /printto registry options the application in the registry is corrupted. Inside the quotes it puts a “??” /print “%1” where the ?? are garbage characters.

I have tried fixing it by
1 – Fixing in the File types section
2 – By changing all instances of the registry

But when ever you launch the application it just resets these settings back to the garbage values. Where is it getting these values from? We need a resolution ASAP

Also, the ie plugin does not work with ie7.

These above problems do not exist on winxp or win2003 32bit

this is a definite problem with 2.0.4.1.4 latest build. I had another machine with the 2.0.4.1.3 build and replaced the latest build with this previous version and the problem with the file associations has gone away.

I still cannot preview pdf files in the browser with 2.0.4.1.4 or now even with 2.0.4.1.3 on win2003 x64 ie7

Please download and try the latest 41.5 release of today - This should be resolved, but the update feature in 'Help -About' will not be live until Tusday 31st March -so you would need to download and install from here (both Binary exe and MSI installs now offered)

I downloaded the msi installers but when I try to launch them windows complains that it is not a proper file

Please try now - there was some corruption on the file for some mirrors - we have refreshed all.

Now appears to be ok.
