it's possible to change security properties from PDF Viewer?

Post by a310773 »

Hello, i am using PDF Viewer PRO 2.0 (build 45.1). In file, properties, security, i can see the buton to change the options but it is disable. ¿How can i activate it? ¿How can change the permissions from the viewer? (Actually i have to use "optimization of pdf" from PDF tools).

Thanks.
Alvaro.

If you look at the Features Chart on this page, you will see that "Add security to your PDF files" is not scheduled yet. So, although the button is on the document properties security tab the feature has not been implemented yet.

PDF-XChange has a number of planned features — like undo — that are not implemented yet. You will find them in the interface, ready and waiting, but you cannot use them. This often leads to confusion, but I guess it helps to reduce development time as the interface design is planned from the beginning with the full feature set, and doesn't need changing as each new feature is implemented.

Undo/Redo feature and Add/Remove/Modify security will be available into build 42. We are working right now on these features.
