PDF minimizes document to task bar when opening
I have a user who when he opens a random .pdf document, it automatically minimizes the document to the task bar. I tried the little "minimize to system tray" setting hoping that might fix it but it didn't work. Any help is appreciated.

So this behaviour is random? Can you reproduce it?

Re: PDF minimizes document to task bar when opening
I'm guessing that it has nothing to do with the Xchange Viewer itself, but rather something in windows, pertaining to launching pdf files. The first thing I would do is launch a pdf.. After the file opens minimzed, I would fully maximize the viewer, then close the viewer by double-clicking on the icon at the upper-left of the title bar. Double-click the icon. Close it that way.
If no good comes from that, I would examine the command line that launches pdf files. You can look at it by going to control panel, folder options, file view. Then find the pdf file in the registered file types column, highlight it, then choose advanced, then edit. You really want to view the command that opens pdf xchange viewer files. The default command line looks like this; "C:\Program Files\Tracker Software\PDF-XChange Viewer\pdf-viewer\PDFXCview.exe" "%1". If it's something other than that, I might adjust it to that default command.
Finally, if nothing above works, I would go into the registry, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and delete the .pdf key. Reboot. When coming back into windows, the pdf files will no longer be associated. Right click one of the pdf files, then choose, "open with", and again choose the pdf xchange viewer as the default opener and check the box to "always use" that application to open pdf files.
One of those suggestions should work to change that minimizing behavior.

If splash screen is enabled - please try to disable it.

We had this issue in build 41.2 but was fixed in build 41.3. What build is he running?
Look at my post http://www.docu-track.com/forum3/viewto ... =35&t=5401 about the same issue.
