Yes, it is planned, but I'm not sure we will realize into into build 42.x. Most probably into build 43.0

While on this topic, and realizing it is significant development time, perhaps this could also include the ability to move selected objects one pixel at a time using the 4 arrow keys.

Or, like some other apps., (Word for instance), move the selected object say 10 pixels with the arrows and 1 pixel with Alt+arrow - much easier than with a wobbly mousepaulororke wrote:While on this topic, and realizing it is significant development time, perhaps this could also include the ability to move selected objects one pixel at a time using the 4 arrow keys.

Realized into build 42.1 (key arrows moves annotation by 10 pixels, Shift+arrows moves by 1 pixel)

After using Word, Excel and Calc I do this automatically and it doesn't work.
Looking forward to it

Likewise, as I am an avid Photoshop user and I always go for the nudge with the arrow keys, it will be another fine addition.
Cheers,
Chris

Re: Howoadjust objects on a grid? (grid snap)
The ability to select an object and press the arrow directional pad keys to perform finite object placement is a small but _huge_ feature that I have been waiting for quite some time.
How can end users receive build 42.1?
Also, at what point will this software no longer be considered [beta] ?

Its not available yet — but Help, Check for updates is the way to get it. If that's not working download it from the link at the top of the History of Changes page (see my sig) when it is available.

Re: Howoadjust objects on a grid? (grid snap)
hobbzilla,
the build is ready and we are just finalizing the installers. I can confirm that moving objects with the arrow keys is working and I love it
As for the [beta], it's the build 42.0 that was in beta stage when you installed it not the whole Viewer. The [beta] "warning" there is to alarm you that maybe there will be some minor glitches with this build (and there were some - e.g. some shortcuts links not pointing to the right places). So this is mostly referring to the new features still being in fine-tuning stage rather than the whole software being beta
Regards,
Stefan
