Re: How do you highlight text?
Hi,
could it be that there is in fact no text ? I know this sounds crazy - but if for example this document was scanned to PDF - it is in fact an image file - and no actual text exists ..
If you feel this is not the case - please zip (using winzip etc) and post an example and we will be pleased to assist specifically.
thanks

Sorry for this...but I don't understand if it's possible to extract text from scanned pdf (I have already bought the pro version)Tracker Support wrote:Hi,

You cannot get blood out of a stone. There is no text in a scanned PDF, it is just a graphic.mouse wrote:Sorry for this...but I don't understand if it's possible to extract text from scanned pdf (I have already bought the pro version)

If you want to convert the graphic to text you must use Optical Character Recognition software such as Free OCR, Abby FineReader, Omnipage, etc.

At least, you could draw a rectangle over the part you want to highlight. Set background colour to yellow, for example, and transparency to 20%.

Good suggestion, Mattes57
About the only way I could see to create a highlight effect on a graphic.
Thanks for your input,
Chris
