Not working in Google Chrome

Post by moxed »

I have PDF XChange Viewer and it works great in Firefox and IE, but I can't seem to get it to work in Google Chrome. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both chrome and the viewer. The "Display in browser" button is checked. Whenever I try to open a .pdf in chrome I get the error "Cannot open Adobe". I've downloaded Chrome through the "Google Pack" and separately; no luck!

I downloaded Foxit to see if I could get anything other than Adobe to work in Chrome. Foxit DID work, but I uninstalled it and tried to get Xchane to work (it's the superior pdf app ;)) ... and now I'm just getting the Adobe message again.

Please advise? Thanks!

Which build of the viewer do you use?

And do you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on machine?
