My version of the viewer is 2.0 build 41.4.
My default setting for the Link tool is "Invert".
After using the tool, I can change its property to "None".
It seems to work as expected.
I save the file and open it again.
The link changes back to "Invert".
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Re: Rectangle Link Tool
Chris,
I have attached a file for your use.
It has two pages.
By clicking on "Go to page 2.", the link jumps you to page 2 (and vice versa).
When you click on it, the text becomes inverted (white text on a black background).
Select the "Rectangle Link Tool" from the toolbar.
Click either of the links and right click to get the properties page.
Change the mode from "Invert" to "None" and pick "OK".
Click the hand tool to exit the link tool.
Click the "Go to ..." for the link you changed and it should jump you the next page without inverting.
Click the other link and it should invert before going to the previous page.
Save the file.
Close the file and open it again.
Click the links. Do they revert back to "Invert" mode?
Mine do.
Thanks.

Re: Rectangle Link Tool
Thanks.
I just ran the "Check for updates" (under Help).
If you look at the attached file, you will see that the results are "No update required".
I will be going from build 41.4 to 42.3.
Why didn't the "Check for update" recognize that there is a new build available?
Does it only check for major releases (such as V2.0 to V2.1 or V2.0 to V3.0)?
Perhaps I am doing something wrong.
Are my connections properties correct?

Re: Rectangle Link Tool
Hi Charles,
I think there were some glitches with the updater at ver 41.X and this might be causing your problem.
The solution at this time is to manually download the latest version and reinstall :
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/download/PDFXVwer.zip
Also Ivan said "Fixed in build 42.3" but this build is still in development so the one you can update to is 42.2 (and to 42.3 in a couple of weeks when it's ready)
Regards,
Stefan
