Comments / Annotations not included in "send by email"

On two recent occasions I opened a document, made comments and annotations, and then used the "send by email" function to send the document on. When the recipient opened the document, there were no comments/markups, just the original document.

I must be doing something wrong here. Perhaps I have to "save" the document before using "send by email" to ensure the comments/annotations are included? (Didn't really want to save the comments, but I could use save as, I guess).

Try saving first and I'll check to see if it's supposed to autosave before emailing.
