Xchange Viewer Menu Behavior w/Plugin.

Post by Cadillakin »

This may be an issue of some sort on my computer only.. It pertains to the FF plugin. When I open the menu it often closes very fast, within a second or two.. Even if my cursor is inactive or within the menu field, it still closes.. I find myself racing to select something within the menu very fast before the menu disappears and I have to do it all over again...

To be clear, if I open the File or another menu on a Windows application, let's say Firefox, the normal behavior is for that menu to stay open indefinitely until I focus or mouseclick somewhere else in the window. Then the file menu closes... But with Xchange Viewer in Firefox.. the file or other menu closes fast, no matter if I change the focus or not.. It just closes on me.

Is anybody else having this issue with the Xchange Viewer Firefox Plugin? By the way, this issue does NOT occur with the IE browser, only Firefox.

Hi Cadillakin,

I personally do not have that issue within Firefox but I will look into it, what operating system are you using?

Thanks,
Chris

I'm using XP Pro... I'm thinking it might have something to do with the other plugins I have... I'll test it on a clean profile and see what happens..

Edit: I created a new profile in FF, and no issue.. So there is some kind of conflict with my other plugins or extensions. You can delete this thread.. and Thank you.

Glad you've got a handle on it.

It was one of my themes in Firefox.. (Daum Firefox) It's interesting to me that a theme would interact with the context menus and effect the Xchange Plugins menus, as well.

Strange I agree - when time allows will try to take a look at this and see if its something we need to pursue.

Thanks for reporting back.
