PDF-Xchange hangs on "Optimizing"

Hi,

I am working with a user who's PDF-Xchange print driver is hanging on the step of "optimizing" whenever he tries using it. I can easily recreate the issue using a simple MS Word 2003 file containing one word. The process pdfsaver4.exe pegs the processor at 50% but does nothing from there. I can kill the process and start again, but the result is the same. I have tried doing an uninstall of pdf-xchange, reboot, and reinstall. Same result.

The user is running WinXP, and the PDF-Xchange version is listed as 4.0.0.148.

I have attached the temp file that is left after killing the process.

I have seen this issue once before many months ago with another user, but was never able to resolve it. Thanks!

Please try to use latest version of the PDF-XChange - using build 165 I cannot reproduce the trouble.

Ok, downloaded the newest version and uninstalled the old version. This time before I ran the install I also deleted the Tracker Software folder in the Program files folder, as well as the Tracker software registry keys in both HKLM\software and HKCU\software. After installing the latest version the issue appears to be resolved. Thanks!
