Sticky note overflow
I open a new sticky note and start filling it with a lot of text. I'm stopped from filling in everything I want. There seems to be a low limit. This isn't my issue though. My problem is that once I reach the limit I'm no longer able to edit the sticky note. The text is locked. It would be nice if I could still edit my sticky note (maybe cut it down) after I've found that I reached the text limit.

Re: Sticky note overflow
Hi brianjd,
What do you consider low limit, and have you tried to grab the edge of the sticky and increase it's width?
By the way what build of the viewer are you using Help->About
I basically wrote sticky that was from the top of the document area to the bottom and when I hit the max top to bottom space I pulled the edge of the sticky to increase it's width and continued to type, I was surprised actually on how much I am allowed to write in a sticky note.
Let me know your findings in this regard.

Re: Sticky note overflow
Just how big is the note that you regard as a low limit?
I was able to create a note of 4,000 characters that filled the entire window, and could still edit it. If I selected all of the text, and pasted another copy = 8,000 characters, then the sticky note became bigger than the window, and caused problems, but that didn't surprise me.
Personally, I think a limit of 2048 characters would be quite reasonable for a sticky note, clearly 4,096 should be more than adequate.

Re: Sticky note overflow
Seems to lock up when the text fills the sticky note top to bottom and the sticky note itself stretches from the top to the bottom of your .pdf viewing screen. So, I took your suggestion. I stretched the sticky note horizontally to the left (my sticky note was filling the screen vertically and all the way over on the right hand side of the screen). Once the text no longer filled the sticky note top to bottom I was able to get the cursor to appear in there again and edit away. I was curious what would happen if you had the sticky note fill the entire .pdf viewing screen and filled it up with text top to bottom. It locked up. Didn't seem like there was any stretching of the sticky note that could could save it...
...wait. So, I guess this is a hack solution: shrink the text to a smaller font
Then the sticky note won't be filled with text top to bottom and you'll get an editing cursor back again.

Re: Sticky note overflow
Pretty much,
I can see if the it's possible to auto stretch on hitting the ceiling value but they may suggest using multiple stickies.
we'll see.

In the near future we planning to make all text-notes scrollable.
