PDF-XChange Viewer in demo-mode

Hi,

unfortunately the pxcview.dll goes in demo mode even when I use the PXCV_Init function providing my V3 or V4 codes.

The codes are correct because the PDF Tools work, only the PDF-XChange Viewer seems to non accept these.

What can I do? AFAIK I have the right to use this DLL for 2.500 installations.

Hello Wolfgang,

Yes the license you have allows you to use the Viewer SDKs for 2500 distributios but you need to fill in a separate license agreement and we need to provide you a new serial number (the Viewer SDK's require a separate serial).

You can find a copy of the license agreement in the Viewer SDK.

Also attached to this post is a copy of the LA - fill in page 4 ad sign pages 1 -3

Once you have filled it please send it to support@pdf-xchange.com
with your order number.

Hi Wolfgang,

Looks like you need to send in your V4 license info - I can see you have registered already for V3 on our web site - but not V4 - if you have not already progressed your V4 upgrade - please do so by logging in here (you have registered already):

if you cannnot recall your account name/password - you can request these here :

https://www.pdf-xchange.com/login/forgot_all

and then progress your upgrade as indicated - I regret we cannot provide license info for the Viewer SDK unless you have a current (V4) license for any one of the following SDK's : PDF-Tools, PDF-XChange Drivers API or the PDF-XChange PRO SDK.

From what i can see from our records - you may be entitled to a free upgrade anyway.

In July of last year I have received a free update to PDF Tools SDK 4, so I have a current product.

Hi Wolfgang - we are curently about 85% finished with our new web site - front and backend and this will allow us to add and support automatcially maintenance options - which until now, was not practical due to a limitation we had with the online databse setup.

Once done we will indeed have an annual and 2 year support/maintenance option and will advise all registered users as soon as available.
