Help with Link Tool

I am having difficulty setting up a link can someone help?

Hi Diana,

Sure thing,

1) click the rectangle link button on the toolbar (beside the stamps button)

2) drag a rectangle around the text you want to add a link to

3) a link properties dialog box comes up it starts on appearance so you can select how you want the link to be display if you want

4) click actions, and click add

5) select which type of link you want, to page in the document, in another document, weblink, or a file link

6) for a web link type in the URL starting with 'http://', and click OK

To test goto tools->basic tools->hand tool and mouse over where you placed the link and a pop-up should appear showing the address

I did not know I had to have text to link. I was trying to link a PDF image by just creating the box.
