[BUG] Application Disappears From View

I think I have reported this before in other contexts. This may be a new bug in build 42.5 beta.

1. Right-click on a comment
2. Mouse over Order on menu to bring up the submenu
3. Mouse over add reply
4. Mouse over Order again

Result: Application disappears from view behind other open applications (e.g. my browser).

Step 2 may not be required. See my sig for OS and hardware details.

I just rediscovered the other context. Closing the floating Find toolbar makes the application disappear too.

hm... cannot reproduce for now. Looks like an OS dependant problem.

Will try to reproduce using 'other' OS's in the next 24 hours.

I tried to reproduce this but wasn't seeing the behaviour you describe. I noted that you are using a 64 bit system - is your XP 32 or 64 though? I tested in XP Pro 64 bit and it seemed fine.

I am using 32-bit Windows XP Home SP2.

32 Bit XP SP3 here as well, tried with several objects, with the viewer not on full screen, with the next opened window (the browser) also not in full screen, pointing before, after and while the submenu is showing, and could not reproduce it. If you can make a series of pictures and or a clip would be lovely.

I am using the x86 .msi installers, tested with build 42.5

I can't reproduce neither the context menu behaviour nor the search panel behaviour.
I tried it with Viewer version 42.6 (exe-installer) on a WinXP SP3 Pro, 32bit on my AMD Turion64 system.

May I ask, if you're using any window management utilities or virtual desktop enhancement tools? I had some problems with them myself...

The search is confirmed - on x64 bit Vista and Win7 atleast, as for the context menu we are also still unable to reproduce it.

May I ask, if you're using any window management utilities or virtual desktop enhancement tools? I had some problems with them myself...

I use a little utility called WinRoll that rolls up windows into the title bar on right-click, but the bug still occurs if that is not running.

The Windows taskbar is on autohide at the top of the screen. (Edit: Still happens if the taskbar is not on Autohide)

If its not affecting many users then its pretty trivial.

Yes. That fixes the bug and stops the application from disappearing.
