measuring tool

new to this whole thing sorry if this is a silly question.... first- is there a way to calibrate the measuring tool to a know measurement....and second how can i make the measurement text smaller if not even gone?

  1. Show the properties toolbar
  2. Select the distance tool
  3. On the properties toolbar you can select the ratio units for from and to.
  4. Draw the distance line

Right-click on the text label, and select "Delete label."

what i need to set is the ratio my print is 1/8 = 1 foot i cant set 1/8 and it wont accept .125 some other measuring tools ive used you can draw a line on the print with a known measurement and input that info to calibrate it to the print ie.. if this line is 4 foot then this next line you drew was x... is this possible with this program?

Try 1 in = 8 ft :idea:
