Removal of PDF-Xchange Viewer IE plugin

Hi,

We are currently distributing PDF-XChange Viewer in our company. However, we do not want to use the PDF-XChange Viewer plugin for IE in our environment. Is it possible to install
PDF-XChange Viewer without the plugin?

I think you just have to clear the checkbox in Preferences, File Associations, Display PDF in Browser.

Thanks for the quick response. However, we need to set this automatically if possible, since we are deployng it to more than 60 users. Is there any registry setting that can be modified or something similar?

If you are using MSI installer you can turn off features F_BrowserPlugins, F_IEPlugin, and F_NPPlugin

How do I parse the settings to the MSI package?

You need to use Orca tool from Windows Installer SDK.

Or your can specify which feature should be installed passing a command line option during MSI deployment (for the list of available options please run the installer and press the Help button on the Welcome screen)
