How to "turn off tools"

Post by mikeS »

Sorry for such a simplistic question. After activating tools, how to de-activate? Example. Select snapshot tool. I've taken my snap shot. How to disable? Same with selection tool, etc? I've tried every combination of keys to stop the tool and haven't found it yet. Thanks in advance.

Select any other tool, e.g. the hand tool.
  • To customise the keyboard, right-click on any toolbar, select customise.
  • From the dialogue, select Commands, Tools, Hand Tool.
  • Right-click, select properties, and assign whichever shortcut you wish.
I have customised my keyboard to select the hand tool with Ctrl Spacebar.

Customise Tools (YouTube Video).
Windows 10 Home 64-bit • AMD Ryzen 5 3400G, 8 Gb

Thank you. Switching back to the "hand tool" does the trick.
