Enhancement Request - Insert Pages Dialog

Post by ralf »

Hello dev-team,

today I missed a to my optinion useful feature: to insert pages just before or after the current page.

One can select "First Page" or "Last Page" or a specific page number but often you just want to insert pages at the current file position.

So it would be nice to have a "Current Page" option in the "Insert Pages" dialog box. My suggestion:

Maybe this feature can easily be implemented?

This option already exists. If you use the "Page" radio button, the current page is the default, so you can insert a page before or after the current page. This might be new in the latest build 42.10 so make sure that you have the latest version.

The behavior that Bhikku describes does, indeed, seem to be new in build 42.10. I am using 42.9 and the page number always defaults to 1.

Hi All,

I think it was there before, then someone complained it got broken in an earlier build, so we "fixed" it back in 42.10.

Cheers,

Hello everyone,

I noticed that the other page dialog boxes like "Extract Pages", "Replace Pages", "Delete Pages", "Rotate Pages", "Crop Pages" all have the "Current Page" radio button. IMHO it's only logical to also add it to "Insert Pages" and "Insert Empty Pages"...

Nevertheless I can live with the new 42.10 option.
