Dear tracker developers,
This is just to let you know that I am highly interested - as I am sure are thousands of others - in a decent pdf-viewer for the upcoming iPad. Is this something you have already taken under consideration?
Aji Annotate already has a pdf-annotation-tool for the iphone (http://www.ajidev.com/annotater/index.html) which they are probably going to adapt for the ipad - but frankly, it is massively inferior to pdf-xchange.
I have hundreds of pdfs, which I read and annotate in pdf-Xchange, and it would just be great if I could do that on a device like the iPad. I would consider buying the iPad if it had decent pdf support (not just reading, which it will of course have), and I would easily invest into an x-change-app if it had a similar price-tag as the desktop version.
Just to let you know.
Cheers,
g

Re: iPad support
Hello grovel,
I am afraid that I will have to disappoint you.
At this moment there are no plans for us to port our applications to any other platform.
It is hard enough to make everything work under 4-5 different Windows versions and at the moment we can not justify the resources needed to provide (and support) another environment.
There are topics about Linux support in the forums, and you will find the answer there is the same - with a bit more explanation on the complexity of providing a version for another platform.

Re: iPad support
Though on both Linux and MAC you can run emulation programs (as I am sure you are aware) that will allow you to run Windows app's and many users have run PDF-XChange successfully using WINE ...
I have no specific info about the same for the MAC
