Hi all,
As you can see in the subject I am preparing for a domain wide roll-out of PDF-xchange Pro. So far everything has gone well except for the fact that pdfviewer refuses to register itself as default pdf application. This is kinda annoying as we run a rather strict domain policy which does not allow users to write to the registry (meaning they are not able to register pdfviewer as default themselves).
I am using following command: PDFX4_wV.exe /VERYSILENT /KEY:"XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX" /Username:"XXXXXXX" /Organization:"XXXXXXX" /PDFV=YES /L
If I'm not mistaken the /PDFV=YES switch is used to register the application as the default viewer but for some reason that seems to fail.
I have logged the installation but no errors are logged.
I'm using ZOHO Desktopcentral for remote deployment and use credentials with domain install rights.
Thanks for having a look at this.
Sven

Re: Remote install of PDF-xchange Pro
Hi Sven,
Have you seen the .msi installation packages? They are more convenient and should be easier to deploy over a range of machines.
Regards,
Stefan
