Hi!
I'm trying to deploy xchange viewer via GPO.
When starting the msi version 2.0.47 with switch /a for an administrative install, it takes some time, then the finish installation window appears. No chance to tell the path, installation options, ... seems, nothing happend at all.
Is there a way to make the administrative install work?

Re: msi administrative install not working
Hello fridolin,
please have a look at the help file available via the "help..." button on the first screen in the MSI package for a list of commands.
It turns out that who made the manual placed the /a command ther in error as we are not supporting administrative install for the moment - there are quite some other parameters that can be used though. Will make sure that the manual is updated now.
Regards,
Stefan

Re: msi administrative install not working
HI Stefan,
thanks for your answer!
So, for deploying via GPO, I use the msi without administrative install? And just copy the file on the network-install-share and link the gpo onto it?

Hi fridolin,
You can create a transformation file as discussed in this topic:
https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/ ... =35&t=5398
if you need full control of simply add the .msi to the GPO with the respective parameters and settings.

Stefan
