I'd really love to see an option where I can tell the viewer that the document page numbers start at some offset from the actual page number. So many documents I read have a few pages prior to page 1 (the cover for instance). So when using reference material that says to find such-and-such on page 20, it's actually 22 or something else in the pdf.
I'd love a document preference where I could set an offset so that the "goto-page" feature took me to the page number printed on the pages of the document.
Unless there is already a way to do this...

There isn't such a feature now. I have mentioned the idea to the dev team for consideration but as always there is the need to balance the desire to include features with usability. Or should that be "the needs of the many vs the needs of the few"? Wasn't that Spock...

I think there should be a lot of people need this feature. Both Acrobat and Foxit Reader has this feature, it is very convenient.
