update progress bar never completes

Hi, I attempted to update my PDF-XChange from 2.0.47 to 2.0.49, and when I clicked to start the install the progress bar continued to renew itself over and over. I finally canceled the update. It's only 18 Mb. It should have completed in one or two sweeps of the progress bar. I waited 10 minutes. Is your server down?

Hi,

I suspect your original install occurred using the MSI based installer and I regret at this moment in time - you cannot use the update option - you must downlaod the full install locally to your hard drive from our server and then run the install.

can you tell us the names and sizes of the files in the Updates folder in your profile please: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Tracker Software\LiveUpdate\Updates

John - I did a clean install from the web site to v2.0.49, and all is well. Thanks for the heads up.

Paul - Sorry for some reason I couldn't navigate to the updates folder following the path. But that's OK because as I mentioned above, I installed the latest version after uninstalling the older version. Thanks for responding.

Glad you sorted it out twl845!

If you downloaded and installed from the .zip/.exe installer this time Live updates should work. If not you will have to manually keep updating the .msi installer for each new build - at least for now.
