pdf viewer in firefox does not expand to screen
How do I get the viewer to expand to the screen size? I get this tiny 1/3 screen view.
I have a png screenshot, but forum won't allow it.

Only zip or 7z archives can be attached.
It sounds as if you are using the fit to full page view. Fit to width should fix it. AFAIK the default shortcut is Ctrl 2.

No - that expands the document within the pdf viewer window. The problem is that the pdf viewer window cannot be maximized within the FireFox screen. Thank-you for your reply, but that didn't do it. Attached is zip of png.

I cannot reproduce the problem here, but I don't use Firefox much at all. Have you updated to the latest versions of both Firefox and PDF-XChange? Try reinstalling one or both of them.

Re: pdf viewer in firefox does not expand to screen
Thanks. I had just installed both and got this problem. For you the pdf viewer inside of FF (not opening in separate window) expands to both sides? (I dont see a maximize window button for the viewer.) Running windows 7.

Re: pdf viewer in firefox does not expand to screen
It is a moodle resource. But I have it "same window" which is full-size.
http://www.ti-tfb.net/moodle/mod/resour ... php?id=410
(You can login as guest.)
Clicking on your link opens pdf viewer outside of FireFox (and thus fullscreen, no problem).
Must be a FF problem. I just checked in IE and it works okay. Bummer. (Looked for divs in the html source - didn't see anything.) Happy Easter.

Re: pdf viewer in firefox does not expand to screen
well it's beyond my meager web coding skills. It certainly is in a defined page element but it appears to me to be a full width element so I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you. I will ask one of the dev team to take a look but I suspect as I said it is to do with the way the page is delivered rather than something the Viewer can manage/handle.

Re: pdf viewer in firefox does not expand to screen
I am sure it is the way the site is coded as I get the same result in Opera. Initially the PDF opens in a popup window, if I maximize the window in my browser, then the PDF frame doesn't fit the width of the page. There is nothing wrong with the plugin.

Hi lfahlberg
the dev team have looked at this and assure me it is in the way the page is presented and that there is nothing we can do about it.
