Separating & Saving Jpegs or gifs or pngs from PDFs

Post by colden »

I have a PDF home inspection report that contains the usual text as well as images of the chimney, fireplaces, etc. PDF-XChange allows me to Select each image, but I don't know how to separate them from the document so I can email only the pictures. Is there any way to do this?

Great program, by the way!

Hello colden,

If you have a license for our PDF Tools you can use it to easily etract the images, otherwise using only the Viewer you could use the snapshot tool to make a screenshot of the area where the image is in the document and then paste the result in e.g. MS Paint and save it as image from there.

Best,
Stefan

Also, in the viewer there is the "Snapshot Tool" using this you can select any part of a PDF page and this tool will copy it to the clipboard.
