Totally slow in loading cad drawings .. 8 seconds for view..

they have sizes about 33 inches x 46 inches ( A0 or bigger ) Acrobat loads them much faster. they are black & white . ca. 146 kb or more. if i zoom ... waiting about 8 seconds. Adobe 0 seconds. If i use scroll arrow ... 8 seconds and so on. now i have to say. time to reinstall adobe acrobat in the company.. the pcs i have are really not slow. it makes no difference with which pc i use it. Pls try to fix this

Hello Sixt,

You have not quoted it but I suspect you are using a bit older build of our Viewer.
We have recently made some optimization changes that dramatically increased the speed of rendering vector heavy documents.
Please download and install the latest build of our Viewer (2.0.50):

And check again.
I believe you will notice a significant improvement.
If however it is still not improving, please do zip and attach a sample file here and we will have a look at it.

maybe bit faster now with 2.50, had 2.49 before...

drawing is sent,

had some problem with msi deploy... when i deployed the pro version, over existing older versions.
it were updated after deploy, but printer driver were deleted...

some suggestion ?

To be honest - only the sys admin for your system can advise where this is likely to be as its a locally defined parameter over which we have no control.

i install now adobe reader on that pc´s who need to watch drawings.. its to slow in pdf viewer.
employes are using paper drawings cause of that slow opening, zooming and scrolling right now

If that works for you - then pleased you found a solution, but speed is not usually something that is an issue when comparing to Acrobat ...

But there will always be specific files and specific circumstances that will contradict, if you wish us to investigate further - we will happily do so, once provided with the previously requested info.

acrobat needs for A0 Document in black and white >1 sec. pdf viewer 10 sec. for zooming, scrolling again view refresh of 8 sec. acrobat 0 sec.

There is not a lot we can do if we dont have an example and despite your saying you sent - we do not appear to have received

The best way to send the file if possible is via the 'Help ->Report a Problem ' option as this provides additional info about your resources which can be critical, also please ensure you include a link back to this forum message for reference !

And as I have already said previously - there will always be exceptions to any rule, I can provide you with 100 examples where our Viewer operates more quickly than Adobes' or other alternates - its not surprising that there are files where the opposite is true - so all we would ask is that you keep this in mind and if you want us to work on an issue - we do need the information to allow us to do so ... (e.g. in this case the file concerned)
