I typically scan 8-12 docs from the scanner - HP309a. When scanned, they shrink about 10-15%. Any reason that they do no scan full sized? Looks funny.

See attached. You can see the shadow outline of the doc around the images
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Do you have the option/property -> 'scale to fit' or similar selected ?

Re: Domuments Shrink
Hello
I am using an HP Officejet 4500 series "All-In-One" MFP; and am having the same problem; for the life of me I cannot find a way to force the scanner to scan at my desired A4 paper size - it cuts and crops at random.
P.S. My first problem with this HP software is huge file sizes when scanning to PDF; is there a way to NOT use the HP scanning dialog?

Re: Domuments Shrink
Hello MarcFX,
We have to use some driver, and so are using either the HP is providing, or the WIA.
And it's in their settings that you should set the size/scaling/cropping if available.
Our Viewer gets the files and starts converting them to PDF only after you are done with the scanning.
As for the File Sizes - check the dpi settings in your scanner, the colour mode used as well as the image format used for storing.
A 300x300 DPI colour TIFF/ vs 150x150 Grayscale JPEG could result in a significant file size difference (while the second is a lossy file format).
Best,
Stefan
