Page Thumbnail View not available in version 2 build 51

After installing the latest version the view-Page Thumbnails view no longer work, the thumbnails pane can no longer be displayed. Please check and revert.

What is your OS? Have you installed the thumbnail viewer?

On Windows XP I can see thumbnail previews if I select a PDF file in the file open dialogue.

However, if I just select the My Documents folder, I see an error message in the thumbnail viewer.

It is the Pane that one can open with Ctrl-T, showing page thumbnails. After installing version 2 build 51 that pane is no longer available. I use Windows 7 32bit. This problem did not exist in earlier builds. Will support please advise me.

Can you check other place?
Please look to "Menu/View/Pages Thumbnails" command.
Here you can see the real shortcut for this command, it should be "Ctr+T" by default.
If it is none or not default, you may restore to default by:
1. enable the "Customize" feature (by right click on any toolbar)
2. go to "Commands/View" and select the "Page Thumbnails" command
3. press the "Properties" button and in "Shortcut" group - the "Reset" button.
4. press "OK" and close all dialogs. After this you should be able to use the default shortcut for this command.

Thank you for responding to my question; the View-Pages Thumbnails menu item is normal; clicking it, or pressing ctrl-T would not bring the thumbnails pane to display. It had been normal before I install build 51. The problem is not file-specific, the thumbnails pane just would not open.

Hello alfonsofung,

Please make a backup of your current settings and try to reset them all to default (Edit -> Reset all settings to default) and see if this will fix the problem as I just installed the latest build (after uninstall of the older one) and it's all working correctly on XP SP3 here.
