I use Pdf-Xchange so that every document opens in a new program. I use the italian versione, so I explain it through the "General options - document layout": first radio, 2 checkboxes set. "General options - applications": Checkbox "multiple execution permitted" is set.
Now, when I have to combine two pdf files that are already open it is no possible to combine them. Can you change that?
And/or: most of the pdf File I get through mail. I would be nice that I can drag and drop an attached .pdf File from my Outlook directly in an already open Pdf-Xchange Window.

Re: Combining open files
Hi,
If you require PDF-XChange to open multiple seperate instances - it is not currently possible to allow you to combine documents as requried - you will need to use the single instance with mutliple documents enabled to facilitate this - we will try to add such an option in Version 3 later this year - but for njow this is not possible.
We will look at the outlook drag and drop request and try and add in an upcoming release of build 2.x
Thanks

Hi Ells,
These are the default settings our Viewer comes with - if you have not changed the default settings you should see "tabs" for each opened document inside one and the same window.
Regards,
Stefan

Re: Combining open files
I figured out how to do this before you replied. This program looks pretty good and we are evaluating it for our company. it seems to answer a lot of needs that we have. It is critical that we can plot from it as I mentioned in an earlier post.

Re: Combining open files
Glad to hear you like it Ells
That's why we are making it
As for the Plotting - lets keep it in the other topic and I believe we will solve that issue quickly.
Best,
Stefan

Re: Combining open files
I am afraid all new feature development has been halted to allow us to make progress with the full new version releases (V3), so there will be nothing until then at the earliest
