I use the Xchange Pro printer driver a lot in the past and it worked fine. The latest versions seem to be malfunctioning. They create a PDF all right, but when I open the document in a PDF viewer (any kind doesn't make any difference) the document is treated as an image so no text selections can be done. This didn't used to happen. I have security turned off in the driver. Is there another setting that is incorrect? When I print the document from OpenOffice using its own PDF creator, the document text can be selected just fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The problem apparently was the OpenOffice document itself. I created a new document and can now select text in the PDF just fine. Sorry to bother you folks.
