CAD Drawings

Post by Arnold »

Someone had posted previously about CAD drawings taking a very long time to navigate in PDFXV. I received a set of blueprints a few hours ago consisting of 8 (32" x 40") drawings. File size is 1.54 megs, version 1.5, and it was created with PlotWorks. It is almost impossible to work with as it scrolls and moves so slowly. The same thing happens in Acrobat though. I think there may be something wrong with the structure of the file. I have seen this before with drawings like this. Both programs use a lot of memory trying to deal with it. Were you guys interested in looking at this file?
