Best pkg to convert text & photos in book (300 PPS) to PDF?

I have a book consisting of 300 pages in MS Works format that contains over 100 black & white photos that I need to convert to PDF file - in order to send to publisher. Will Exchange Lite software do the job? If not, what do I need? Thanks. Isaac

Hello Isaac,

Yes the Lite will do the job, but has a limited set of features you can edit, and might not provide what you need (e.g. no image quality control), so I would recommend you to try both the Lite and Standard. You can download them both from here:

For converting batches of Photographs - you might find PDF-Tools better as it has batch conversion tools for images via a wizard interface, however this gives you no printer driver options for converting other document formats to PDF.

Best solution if you can justify the expense is PDF-XChange PRO as this gives you the complete suite .. PDF-XChange Standard (advanced Printer driver) PDF-Tools, MS Office Addin and Batch conversion Utils (Office2PDF) and the PDF-XChange Viewer PRO and will include a free upgrade to version 2011 when released.
