Question: Word Form Letter as PDF Attachement to eMail

Hi,

I have following issue and don't know how it is possible to do so.
In Word we have a Form Letter (German: Serienbrief).
This form Letter should be converted to a PDF and sent as Attachement by email.
The Letters have individual recipients an different content.
In OWrd there is a function send by eMail. So the merged letters are sent by email as attachement but the attachement is a word document. We want to send them as pdf.
The recipients are also in the Excel available as a merge field.

Do You have any solution to this topic without having to touch every letter manual.

Hi Juerg.vonBueren,

such a thing would be possible but only using the Drivers API SDK and a small application. The Print driver can be set up to email the generated document but would require the SDK to pass a different email address each time it was called. Doing this you could integrate the mail merge functionality with a call to the print driver as you would for a paper based mail out and automate both the content of the email, recipient and attachments.
