In an existing PDF file, I created an email link with added code for the Subject line. Followed by Comments, Flatten Comments.
mailto:dschmidt@pacifier.com?Subject=In regard to the the “Shake off the Winter Blues” Dinner and Dance on January 16, 2010.
What would normally result after selecting the link would be, Outlook Express would open with a new email, addressed to Don Schmidt and the Subject line would contain, In regard to the the “Shake off the Winter Blues” Dinner and Dance on January 16, 2010.
What happens when selecting the link is Outlook Express would open with a new email and is addressed to Don Schmidt but the Subject line is blank. Note: It works fine before flattening the email link but looses the Subject line after flattening.
Can the email address "?" handle be included to operate? Note there are several varieties of the ? handle, cc, bcc, Subject... maybe more.
Many thanks for a GREAT!!! pdf viewer,
Don

Re: PDF-XChange Viewer Pro - Looses link after flattening
Hi Don,
Yes flattening the comments does remove the clickable links, you can re-add the link using the rectangle link tool (purple box with chain link icon on toolbar). Drag the rectangle over the text you want clickable. A dialog box will open, click the Actions category on the left, click Add in the right pane, and Open a web link. Enter you full mailto:address, and click ok.
That should fix it.

If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.
