Extract pages does not extract forms with it

I have a document that contains many form fields, it is having a display issue in pdf xchange viewer that does not occur in Adobe. I figure that someone would want a copy of the file to do some testing on, but because of the nature of the file, I cant send out the entire thing. I figured that the page that is messing up would be enough. But when I went to extract the page, none of the form fields came with it, I just got the basic document. Is this typical behavior, or is it a bug?

it is normal that when you extract pages from a form that the form features are lost. Perhaps you'd like to send the entire document to support@treacker-software.com and we'll take a look?

You have simple workaround - delete not needed pages ad save file with another name.
But do not expect that you can merge two files with form fields - for now form fields cannot be copied or moved from one document to another.

Is the ability to copy form fields from one document to another going to be implemented in the future? I could *really* use that...

HI mtanner,

in V3 of the Viewer we are planning more support for working with forms. This definitely includes copying form fields within the same document for the base version of the Viewer. We are also working on a "Forms Creator" which will have more advanced features for assembling forms and I believe that this will have the capability you are looking for.

Look for this later this year.
