First of all thank you for this great program! I have been using it a lot throughout the last days.
During my usage I was missing some options concerning annotations:
- defining different keyboard shortcuts for annotation tools of the same type
(e.g. red highlighter ALT + 1; green highlighter ALT + 2 and so on)
> this would make working in fullscreen mode a lot smoother
- an option to select and modify multiple annotations (e.g. pressing CTRL)
- an option to modify annotations (e.g. width/amount of highlighted text)
Thanks for taking these feature requests in consideration!

Re: Simple but helpful feature requests
Hi boeren,

thanks for the suggestion/question. In truth we've been asked this before and are looking into the feasibility for V3 of the Viewer.- defining different keyboard shortcuts for annotation tools of the same type
(e.g. red highlighter ALT + 1; green highlighter ALT + 2 and so on)
> this would make working in fullscreen mode a lot smoother
this is planned for V3- an option to select and modify multiple annotations (e.g. pressing CTRL)
Can you be more specific here? Many comments can already modified in this way. Perhaps it is unclear because technically all the markups are 'comments'. Is there a particular one you are thinking of here?- an option to modify annotations (e.g. width/amount of highlighted text)

Re: Simple but helpful feature requests
I am thinking of touching the edge of a highlighted text section holding down the mouse button and extending or reducing the selection. At the moment I sometimes select a few letters too much or not enough and then I have to delete the highlight and start over... Or is this already possible?

Hi boeren,
it's not possible in the curent version I'm afraid and to be honest I'n not sure that it would be practical to implement. I'll consult with the dev team and get back to you.

Re: Simple but helpful feature requests
Hi again boeren,
the Dev Team leader said that this would indeed not be simple to implement. He also indicated that he thought it a reasonable request so we have added it to the long term list. This means that if possible it will be in a build some time after the initial release of PDF-X Viewer 2011 currently scheduled for release early Q2 this year.
