suggestions for X-Change viewer

Post by ThomasH »

I am using PDF-Xchange Viewer. It' really great.
I just make annotations on the pdf which we get from our customer.

I have some suggestions:

1. I would like to have the possibility to rotate the annotations (textbox, rectangle...)
2. I would like to select multiple annotations (with crtrl + or ctrl A) to move them, manipulate them or copy to clipboard to paste in an other pdf-document.
3. I would like to modify the value of the distance-tool, so that I can use it like an annotation.

Will you implement these functions into your next version ? - And when will it be available ?

Hello Thomas,

And thank you for your suggestions.

All three of them are already planned and should be available in ver3 of the Viewer, expected late Q1 or early Q2 of this year.

For the moment you might want to test "export all comments to data file" and then importing them into another document.
While it will place all annotations on the same place on the same page in the new file - it might be useful if you have e.g. similar forms and most of the information in them is the same.

Best,
Stefan

Hello Tobias,

Selecting multiple objects is already on the radar, and for rotating them together I presume it will be considered as well (will pass it now to the dev team).

Best,
Stefan
