Dimensions using the shift keyboard modifier

Hi,

I have been using pdf Xchange to check dimensions within a document.

Using the shift modifier key when drawing a dimension line in AutoCad constrains the dimension measured to 45 degree increments which is handy for finding the vertical dimension between two points that are offset from each other.

However when the same proceedure is used in Xchange viewer the behaviour is the same on the screen (the dim line is constrained vertically) but the distance measured is the straight line distance from the two points.

Is there a way to make the distance measured the vertical distance?

Thank you for your post, we appreciate you suggestion and I will make sure the development team is made aware of your request. Please know that they are in the final stages of development for v3 of the Viewer and the feature requests have been capped for the intital release. But they will consider your request for versions released after v3 is out. I will get back to you on it when I've heard more.
