Bug Report Tool: How to NOT attach a file?

Post by Peter2 »

Opening a destroyed file with PDF-Viewer started the "Bug Report Tool" - see attachment. There is a caption called "Datei (PDF-Dokument) an die Mitteilung anhängen? / Attach File (PDF-Document) to the Report?"

There is a question - but where is the answer "No attachment!"?

Peter

Hello Peter,

I agree the question mark might not be quite in place there, but the option to not attach the file is in the next step - when your mail client is launched you are free to delete the file if you do not want to send it as one of the attachments in your problem report.

Best,
Stefan

Yes, but I had the crash with a 290 MB file. And this would be better not to attach (instead of attach first and delete later).

BTW - small issue: The selection list on top of the dialogue is not translated.

Well Peter - without the file - there is not much point in sending the report frankly.

unless you can ipload to another location and supply a link - or if you prefer email us and we will advise of how to FTP to our server.
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.

Best regards
