I notice this on fill-in form (nys state income tax). Mini-pane of page opens if I attempt to scroll. Really annoying and not the least bit helpful. How can I can disable this this feature?

Can you please check the build number of the Viewer on your machine (Help -> About) and if it is not the latest 2.5.193, please manually download and update to this latest one from here:
www.tracker-software.com/PDFXVwer.zip
If it is the latest could you please make a screenshot and then archive it and attach it to this topic so we could see which mini-pane you have in mind and we should then be able to advise you further.
