Plugin now required to view pdf

Post by dharvey »

Just updated my PDF-XChange Viewer - now when I scan a document, upload it to my website and click on the link to view, it is asking for a plugin. Why is that.

Hi dharvey,

do you have "Edit --> Preferences --> File Associations --> Display in Browser" enabled in the stand alone Viewer?

Thanks Paul,

Looks like that solved it. One other question, the guys on the Clarion Language Newsgroup noted that there is a Print Driver available. Which version do I need to get that.

Thanks for the help.

Hi dharvey,

there is a Clarion version of the PDF-XChange Drivers API but not the end user driver. You can get it from here:

Of course if you own the PDF-XChange Viewer PRO license (rather than the free version) you are free to download and use a single user license for your own use of PDF-XChange Lite

See the last paragraph before the spec's :-)
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.
