PDF file forces the use of Acrobat Reader

Post by Baobabik »

I just installed PDF Xchange Viewer V. 2.5 (Build 194.0) and the attached file (Annoyance.rar) refuses to open. A window pops up requesting me to install Acrobat Reader which has been deleted when I started using PDF X Viewer configured as the default program for PDF files. Can anyone help?

The file is not attached. I suspect that *.rar files are not supported. Try *.7z or *.zip or *.pdf

.RAR archives are supported - so there should be no issue attaching.

Or you can use the option 'Help - Report a Problem' in the Viewer when open.

If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.
