PDF-XChange Viewer - Bookmarks Functionality is now FREE !

To all users of the FREE version of the PDF-XChange Viewer we are pleased to announce that after repeated requests by a significant number of users we have 'opened' all the Bookmark functionality (add/Edit/Delete) and released them so a paid for version is no longer required.

Thanks for that. Indeed it will be useful. My DTP program doesn't support Latin Extended Characters in Bookmarks. Maybe this should be added to the History of Changes too?

Note to all: To edit a bookmark, just double-click on it.

I do have the XChange Viewer Pro version, plus PDF Tools 4 and X-Change Lite. But whenever adding the booksmarks, the saved file shows links to x-change site on every page. Is there a way to solve this?

Please update to the latest release from our downloads page and ensure you restart your PC.

It does sound also like your serial number has not been correctly entered - so I would reccomend you follow these instrructions fully - using your serial number - if you have any problems please do not reply here with your serial number - buit send it to : support@pdf-xchange.com with a link back to this forum post in the email, thanks.

Please do ** exactly ** as detailed below and all should be well - though please note, evaluation stamps cannot be removed once they are placed on a files pages - the files must be remade afresh from the original material - so this will not help with regards any files you may have already made with the trial version.

1: Please uninstall all you have installed so far from the Windows control panel (in Windows XP this is in the option 'ADD/Remove Programs' - in Vista 'Programs and Features') and restart your PC when complete.

2: Download and start this installer :

3: When asked by the installer, please ensure you accept to install the PDF-XChange Viewer as well as PDF-XChange Lite - please copy/paste your serial number
into the installer as appropriate.

4: Now complete the install and restart Windows as instructed

5: Open any application -(e.g. MS Word/Excel etc) and open a document - then print (File -> Print) to the PDF-XChange Printer in your 'Printers
List' and a PDF file will be created as required.

6 : Also - please open the PDF-XChange Viewer - go to the Edit Menu -> Preferences -> Registration and ensure the above serial number is also
copy/pasted there and all should be well
