Problems printing with Xerox Workcentre printer

Hello,

I have problems when printing documents with many pages on our Xerox Workcentre printer (i.e. the Modell 7335). It happens when printing duplex, that is front and rear side of the page.

When printing the same document with adobe reader, it works.

Please excuse me but I could not understand clearly what exactly is the problem you are experiencing.

Is it that you are unable to print in duplex mode, or the problem happens when you are printing in duplex mode?

If you can show us a sample and e.g. screenshots that would greatly help us in helping you.

the problems happens when printing. The first 40 or 50 pages are like they should be, an then there are only several letters on the printed pages, something like @12xhsg-ygg, doesn't really make sense to me.

Unfortunately I can't offer an screenshot.

But you can try that document yourself, if you want to.

I would like to ask you hust one more question before I ask one of our devs to have a look at this.
Could you please try to print from one of those problematic pages onwards, and check whether the problem is with printing the page in general, or happens only after 40-50 pages have already been printed.

Hi,

the problem happens only when printing many pages. When I just print only those "problematic" pages, it works. To me it seems something like a buffer overflow.

I spoke with one of the devs and he advise that you try to print with selected "Print text as curves" checked and see whether this will fix the problem for you.

PS: It took me some minutes to find this option. For other people how didn't find it: Its's under print->print options->advanced->print text as curves->always, i.e. "Text als Bilder drucken" in german.
