Installing x86 version on x64's OS. Is it possible?

Hello! 64-bit version PDF-XChange Viewer have some problems in cooperation with 32-bit applications. I.e., ABBYY Lingvo x3.
In connection with it I have a question - is it possible install x86 version PDF-XChange Viewer on 64-bit operating systems? And without using Portable version.

Possible to make the installer with option to choose version of PDF-XChange Viewer - x86 or x64? For example, MS Office 2010 have two version of installer. And any of these may be installed on 64-bit's OS.

I am afraid that the only option to "install" a 32 bit version of our Viewer on a x64 OS is to use the portable version.

Hello Dmitry,

speaking some more with the guys in dev, it might be possible for you to install the usual Viewer (you will get the x64 bit version) and then overwrite the viewer.exe and all the dll files with those provided with the portable viewer.

Please note that we can not guarantee this to work, and it's also unsure what will happen with the plug-ins, but you might be able to make such an "installation" work with e.g. your ABBYY Lingvo x3.

Stefan, exe-file of Portable version is different from usual (installing) version. Imho, because of program settings of Portable version are saving in file 'Settings.dat' (not in Registry). Just replacing any exe-files and DLLs - may be any confusions.

I think about my questoin that it is not your (software) problems, but ABBYY's.
