I would like all documents to be opened with zoom 66,7%
instead of the usual 100%

Not possible AFAIK. In Preferences, Page Display, you can set the default zoom to 50% or page width.

Hello Hanson and Bhikkhu,

It's actually possible.
In Edit -> Preferences -> Page Display you can set the desired default, and you could also type a custom value in the Field.

You might also want to uncheck the "Restore last used layput..." so that files you have already opened before will also from now on get opened with your specified zoom level.

Hello Hanson,

That would be Rediger -> Indstilliger (or Ctrl + K) if you have not changed this shortcut from it's default.

If you want to place an image - either upload it on one of the free hosting websites (like imageshack) and link it here, or archive it and attach the archive - .rar and .7z are allowed file formats.

Well it works, but only if I choose like 50%, not actual Size.

Hello Hanson,

Actual Size is 100% - so when you select that and click Apply - it will on consecutive visits show you 100% - which is the same.
Fit width and Fit Heights should correctly be retained however, as well as any custom percentage - just make sure to type it correctly e.g. "67.3%" - including the decimal dot and the percentage sign and it will be remembered.

Stefan

:-)

I did not know that I could type the size in, but that works ok.

To me actual size is the present size, the size of the window right now ...

Thanx a lot !

Hi Hanson,

Actual Size originates from how the document would look if printed without scaling on paper, and that on screen translates to 100% - so you see the document in it's full and expected size.

If you want to keep the current zoom level in consecutive openings - just make sure that the "Restore last used layout..." checkbox is selected (the smaller circle on my shot above).

Stefan

Hello Hanson,

I am afraid the answer here is NO, but you can easily set up a custom shortcut key:
How do I create custom short cut keys for tool bar commands
So that you can quickly switch to the desired tool!

Thanx, but: On the 'Commands' tab select the category on the left panel and the command on the right that you wish to modify and click "Properties" to open the Command Properties dialogue box

Which one should I use ?
